Thots On T-Shirt Billboards

I was in the Barber Shop yesterday having a wonderful conversation about Hinesville's glorious (ha!) sign ordinance.  I was recounting the ticket our church got for putting up pennant streamers on our stationary sign the week before and during VBS this summer.  We were ticketed for having an unauthorized temporary sign.  We needed a permit for that.  Others in town have been forced to remove signs from their own yards.  This sign ordinance is outrageously stupid.

I wonder if those who wear t-shirts are being ticketed for their signage?  In fact, we can take this all the way.  Whatever we wear says something to others.  Conservative wear speaks to our values.  I can put on a suit, even with a Cross lapel pin, and walk into the courthouse - people think I'm a lawyer.  The suit advertises that.  Wear grunge and it speaks to the things you like.  T-shirts have sayings on them.  In some schools across our country, Christian t-shirts have been banned.  Ladies sparsely dressed are advertising their availability and enjoyment of sex - even when they don't mean to be saying that.  They dress like the billboards and magazine covers.  Should we start ticketing indecency or any form of clothing as a "temporary sign" if they have not filed for a permit at City Hall?  Sounds as solid as adding streamers to an existing and authorized sign being worthy of a ticket.  Sounds as solid as ticketing people for putting signs up in their yards.  And yet, come election time, the whole city is littered with political signs.  Do they all have permits?  Or are politicians always ABOVE THE LAW?
