Been thinkin' a bit more on the subject (in a roundabout sort of way) of the last post - hate crimes - but with a twist - the legislation of hate crimes.
Liberals seem to think that tolerance is at the heart of the issue, and so they criminalize anyone who will not tolerate _________ (you fill in the blank). That means that our nation will not tolerate those who will not tolerate something. Doesn't that mean our legislators are intolerant? Aren't laws intolerant of something? Isn't that the whole point of having laws in the first place? If the legislators are so dog gone tolerant, then what are they doing telling me how intolerant they are of me for my behavior? They might as well just go home and never come back. They have legislated themselves right out of a job!
