Thots On My Bible

I’ve been thinking a lot about my Bible – it is a wonderful gift to me from God.  I only wish everyone could view theirs the same way.

• It shows me about myself.


• It shows me about others.


• It shows me about God.


• It shows me about Heaven.


• It shows me about the past.


• It shows me about the future.


• It shows me what can be seen.


• It shows me what can’t be seen.


• It shows me how to live.


• It shows me how to die.


• It shows me how to laugh.


• It shows me how to cry.


• It shows me what is right.


• It shows me what is wrong.


• It gives me comfort.


• It gives me strength.


• It gives me direction.


• It gives me assurance.


• It gives me purpose.


• It gives me grace.


• It changes my perspective.


• It changes my heart.


• It changes my soul.


• It changes everything.

Yes, my Bible gives me all I need for this life and the next – for in it all Truth is revealed.  Only a loving God would give such a book for mankind – and a book that instructs us with peace, love, grace, and righteousness.  Thank you, God, for my Bible!
