What's Happening In America?

I am greatly disturbed this morning by the news that so many are turning against Tom DeLay, House Speaker, for standing firm against an activist judiciary. I would expect liberal Democrats to oppose him, since they require these activist judges to get their culture of death agenda into our society and legal system. But there seems to be a schism in the Republican party over the issue as well.

House Speaker Tom DeLay is under attack by the liberals who are making unsubstantiated claims against him that are being broadcast far and wide by the liberal media.

RINOs (Republicans in Name Only) in the House and Senate have begun to add their voices to the chorus and just this weekend, liberal Republican Christopher Shays of Connecticut (who voted against impeaching Bill Clinton) called on Tom to resign as Majority Leader.

Multi-billionaire George Soros, who spent tens of millions of dollars trying to defeat President Bush in the last Presidential election, is bankrolling this attack on Tom DeLay!

The liberals are furious that Speaker DeLay is laying the blame for much of what is wrong in this country on activist federal judges and that he supports the constitutional right of Congress to withdraw jurisdiction from the courts. Of course, the liberals hate this idea, since they know they can't get their harmful agendas through the Congress or state Legislatures because the people's representatives won't vote for them, so they must depend on activist judges to put their plans into action. They depend on an activist liberal judiciary to accomplish their goals in defiance of the will of the people.

Tom DeLay is the champion of all the issues grassroots Republicans care about, from the right to life, to the traditional meaning of marriage, to domestic and foreign policy issues, to reining in the federal courts. We need Tom DeLay as our leader now, more than ever!!

Here is what I am asking you to do!

Please contact everyone you know and ask them to bombard their Republican Members of the House and Senate with phone calls demanding that they rally behind Tom DeLay, support him, and do whatever is necessary to prevent George Soros and the liberals, including Republican liberals, from prevailing against him.
TOM DELAY HAS ALWAYS STOOD WITH US. NOW IT'S OUR TURN TO STAND WITH HIM.

Have we forgotten the values that so clearly affected the last Presidential election?

Have we forgotten that in every state (except Idaho) which has put to the people the choice to ban homosexual marriage by constitutional amendment, the people voted overwhelmingly (at least 60%) to amend their states' constitutions accordingly? And that the judges are trying to overrule the people on a legitimate constitutional amendment?

What's Happening in America? Our government has forgotten its role, and our people seem to have forgotten ours as well. It is time to stand up and tell our government what seems to be forgotten:
