Thots On Christians Being Slandered

Catholicism – that Roman religion that has gripped so many people around the world, is really little more than a blend of paganism and Christianity so as to placate as many as possible, thus increasing their rolls – has made another overt effort to unite with non-Christians:  the Muslims.  Yet, the Pope, in doing so, has made enemies of those he hoped to unite with.  (Pope 'deeply sorry' for Muslim fury)  “The pope told pilgrims he hoped his remarks now and an explanation by the Vatican Saturday were enough to "placate spirits and give the true meaning of my address, which in its totality was an attempt to frankly and sincerely express my great reciprocal and mutual respect with the Muslim faith."

His remarks were a repeat of ancient, truthful literature regarding the violent manner of Mohammed’s proselytizing.  This sparked a huge reaction from Muslims and an apology of “respect” for the Muslim faith.

I wonder why so many from other faiths, even no faith at all, can cry foul at the truth when it hurts, but the Christians aren’t allowed to cry foul at slander?
